Keith sent me a shot of his original '78 XS500 that he has owned since new. It has 24,000 on the clock and has been as reliable as the day is long. As you can see from the pics, he has treated the bike as well as it has treated him over the years. He is also the proud owner of a '75 Cosworth Vega, a pair of rare birds indeed. I think the pair look great together, like they were made for each other.

Yamaha had the best styling. Long boxy tanks and good lines. Makes me want an RD.
You should rescue that RD your buddy has.
Man, I wish I could. You wouldn't believe the number of awesome bikes that are just rotting away. RD400, Kawa Triple, SRX600, just to name a few.
I'll go with you. You grab the RD, I'll snatch the SRX6
Sounds like a plan but I'll warn you, the SRX is in rough shape. If we're running a smash and grab, I'll skip the RD and grab the BMW F650!
