She’s Gone
I did it, I sold the ZRX. I’ve had that bike for about four years now, she has been one of my favorite bikes I have ever owned. I really don’t know why, but for some reason I am only able to keep any bike for about four years. It must be something in my DNA or some kind of deep seated psychosis. Even if I love the bike and regret selling it the moment it turns the corner with it’s new owner, I can’t seem to hold on to one for any longer than afore mentioned time frame.
It is a little different this time, when I sell I usually have already bought the next bike or have one picked out. That is not the case this time. I really am kinda up in the air about my next ride. I’m looking at all kinds of bikes, Sportsters, old Beemers, late seventies, early eighties Suzuki GS’s and Kawasaki KZ’s, naked goldwings maybe a Yamaha FJ 1200. The only thing I do know about my next bike is she is going to be another naked girl.
I have a real thing about naked bikes, could be the era I grew up in, I don’t know. But if they are wrapped in plastic, are a full boat touring model, I just look the other way. I guess the less clothes she has on just appeals to my sense of aesthetics. There is just something in the way a bike looks with no clothes on, the raw mechanical nature of a naked bike. Makes the hair on my arms stand up, gives me goose bumps. I guess that is why I love street trackers and bobbers so much.
So as sad as I am to see the old ZRX go, I am just as excited about the search for her replacement this spring. With the economy in such rough shape, I don’t believe I have ever seen such a wide variety of bikes and prices to choose from. It is going to make the decision that much harder to make.

Looking For a Real Project, a Free Motorcycle and Firewood

"bike and tree this is a package deal must take both. 1977 yamaha xs650 have clean title in hand. Great for parts, or for a project for someone's garage
It's missing some things, but it's mostly all there. Key was in bike when parked, think its still there but unable to confirm. Bike was in good running condition when parked"

If you are looking for a project bike and some firewood, you can kill two birds with one stone.

Oh Joy Ren, Another #@%&$! Snowstorm

To some in Michigan and the other regions to be covered by this latest system, this is indeed good news. Myself, I'm for crying for mercy, I am ready for spring. The fact that I don't own a snowmobile and ride motorcycles contribute to this longing for spring. I know, I know, this storm isn't shit when compared to the lake effect areas of the country. I would have moved years ago if I lived in one, so enjoy all you snow lovers out there.

Would You Buy This Spider For $233.95

My answer would be no, but this guy has a great sense of humor when dealing with a chiropractor he's not too crazy about paying.
ENJOY!!!

A Pretty Damn Good Idea
If you are looking for a alternative to the leather riding jacket or ballistic armor jacket, you may want to check into a Impact Jacket. The have a CO2 system that inflates certain critical areas in the event you and your bike become separated during the course of your ride. Kinda like an airbag for your torso. For more info steer your bike towards Impacts website.
