Went for a decent ride today hit a few pawn shops to check out guitars ( you never know what you might find). usually pieces of crap manufactured by companies I have never heard of before. It's a great way to spend a Saturday. We topped it off by paying a visit to
ABC Harley Davidson to see what wares they were offering. I spotted a Sportster 48,

I really like that bike and would get one if I had the extra dough. But what really caught my eye was this BEAUTIFUL VL a customer had parked out front.

That bike was worth the trip by it's self

very nice!
It was even nicer in person. My cell cam didn't get the details. One nice bike though.
I'm not a big Harley fan but I do like their old stuff just fine. The VL is probably my favorite of any of the pre-1960 stuff. That one looks like a beauty and it's nice to see it's not been hacked up.
Seeing that 99% of my riding buddies ride them, I wind up at a Harley franchise every now and then. Out of the current lineup, I like the Sportsters, and Roadking Classic. I love the old Harleys, pans, knuckles, shovels, flat heads. If there is a nice one near by, it draws me like a moth to a flame.
